The Benefits of Acrylic Products
All of our products are made from 1/4" thick acrylic. Compared to glass, it weighs approximately half as much and is more impact resistant. It can be bent, or molded into a variety of shapes when heated, and forms a bond, at the seams that is stronger than the plastic itself. The section of the drip trays, in our wet/dry filters, that is drilled is made with 1/8" lexan, a material that is used in bullet proof glass and more recently by the auto industry to increase the resistance to impact of cars.
