New Acrylic Overflow Box and Skimmer Box for Saltwater Aquariums
This is a new acrylic overflow box that is capable of over 500 gph. On a 55 gallon tank with mag5 pump you will get a 500gph flow rate, on a 75 gallon you could get a flow rate of 700gph with a mag7 pump, and on an aquarium with a larger surface area and a larger pump you could get a larger flow rate, and with a smaller surface area and smaller pump you will get a smaller flow rate. It includes a U-tube, prefilter sponge, and a 3ft. outflow hose. The skimmer box is adjustable so you can adjust the water level. This overflow box features quit operation, meaning that you won't lose siphon if the power goes out. It also operates very quietly. Plastic gutter guard is wrapped around the top of the skimmer box to prevent small fish from getting in. The skimmer box measures: 2.5" wide, 7" deep and 6" across, the overflow box measures a little under 3.25" wide, 8" deep and 6" across.
